AGNICO-EAGLE MINES LIMITED MAKES A STRATEGIC INVESTMENT IN GOLD EAGLE MINES LTD.
Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. has made a strategic investment in Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. (TSX: GEA) today through a non-brokered private placement of units of Gold Eagle. In addition, Eberhard Scherkus, PEng, the president and chief operating officer of Agnico-Eagle, has been appointed a director of Gold Eagle.

Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. - Bruce Channel Exploration Target Potential

Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. (TSX: GEA) has released an exploration target potential for the Bruce channel which has been prepared by Peter George, PGeo, of Geoex Ltd. In Mr. George's opinion, the exploration target potential of the Bruce channel, based on the drilling completed to the end of 2007, is 14.1 million tonnes to 16.5 million tonnes grading between 20 grams gold per tonne to 25 grams gold per tonne, yielding an in situ potential of between 9.0 million to 13... Skyharbour's Drilling Continues on Hole BR08--2 on the Broulan Reef Gold Project, Red Lake, Ontario
Drilling continues on Skyharbour's 20% owned Broulan Reef gold project with Hole BR08--2 now at 1,040 metres. The hole continues in the felsic pyroclastic sequence of rocks. The Balmer assemblage host rock has not yet been encountered but is expected within the next 200 metres.
To date, the drill contractor has utilized 11 removable wedges in hole BR08-2. The wedges are necessary to maintain a minimum of deflection in the mother hole. It is the Company's intent to keep the hole as straight as... (3 KB) |

New Progress Map of Deep Drill Hole on Broulan Reef Gold Project
This cross section of the on going drill program on the Broulan Reef depicts the vertical depth of the 1st mother hole at this time.
It is anticipated that this main drill hole will enter into the Balmer assemblage host rocks at approximately 1200 metres.
The hole will be drilled to a depth of approx. 2400 metres with a series of wedges then drilled off the mother hole targeting potential gold ore zones in the Balmer assemblage.

DRILL HOLE BR07-1 IS ENCOUNTERING EXPECTED STRATIGRAPHY AS SHOWN.
THE HOLE IS ON TRACK TO ENTER AND TEST POTENTIAL OF THE BALMER. THE HOLE WILL BE IN THE BALMER AND ON STRIKE WITH THE "FINN ZONE" IDENTIFIED BY GOLD EAGLE MINES JUST NORTH OF OUR PROPERTY BOUNDAY.

Drilling Commences on Rainy River Claim Block "D1" Gold Project, NW Ontario
Don Huston, President, Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SYH), is pleased to report that drilling commenced today on its Rainy River Claim Block "D1" gold project, Rainy River district, Northwestern Ontario. The property is located to the southwest approximately 3 km of Rainy River Resources gold discoveries on their ODM zone, 433 zone, and the #17 zone. 3 to 4 targets on the Claim Block "D1" will be tested in this Phase 1 drill program.
